44M People reached. Reached with Get Online Week message through PR media campaign and digital skills learning content posted on social media.

Our campaign featured real stories of people taking part in the Week and spread the word about need to close the digital divide.

We asked people at Get Online Week events to tell us about their experience. Over 1,000 people responded, with many commenting how helpful and fun it was to get involved.

We analysed responses from 1,000 event attendees to see what people learnt. The top 6 categories of digital skills are identified here. ‘Other’ includes skills like online banking, using devices, history and the Be Connected website and program

Beneficial to communities

100% Get Online Week benefits my community.

We asked event holders about their experience with Get Online Week. 100% said it was beneficial to their community. When ranking how it helped, 70% said that it improved digital skills and 64% said it increased confidence to use tech.

I also believe everyone gained from the program and we made a few new friendships with many asking if we could do the same again, and yes we can!
