Free phones for our Digital Sisters program!

We are excited to share that TPG Telcom Foundation has generously donated smart phones for our Digital Sisters program.

We are excited to share that TPG Telecom Foundation has generously donated 500 smartphones to support migrant and refugee women participating in Good Things’ Digital Sisters program. We want to thank TPG Foundation for this kind donation, just in time for the festive season!

55 organisations around Australia have received phones to distribute to women in their local communities, enabling them to get online using their own device, be more independent and stay connected with their loved ones.

Community organisations who received the donated phones were excited and grateful for the devices.

“Thank you so much for this wonderful news. We truly appreciate Good Things Australia and TPG Telecom Foundation for supporting women in our Digital Sisters program with these devices. This will make a meaningful difference for participants in our community, especially ahead of the holiday season.”

At Good Things we believe that every one in Australia has the right to affordable access to digital technology and the skills and confidence to use it. That’s why we are so passionate about programs like Digital Sisters that are helping to close the digital divide.

Support the Digital Sisters program

Funding for this important program is due to end in June 2026 and we are seeking investment from government, industry and philanthropy to ensure we can continue supporting migrant and refugee women to be digitally included.

Since 2023, the Digital Sisters program has supported over 4,500 women. The program has improved their ability to get online safely and affordably, helping them to fully participate in society, learn skills to help with job readiness, and to connect with others.
