Follow this step by step video to learn how to create groups of learners for the programs your organisation is taking part in with Good Things. You will also learn how to add and remove learners from existing groups on the my.goodthingsaustralia.org website.
Before you start, you need to have a log in to access your organisation’s account and have registered your learners on this website.

How to video: Manage groups of learners in my.GoodThings
Organising your learners into groups on my.GoodThings can help you keep on top of your program admin
In this video: Create a group of learners to more easily manage your program, Add learners to a group, Remove learners from a group.
Go to Manage Learner Groups
After logging in to my.goodthingsaustralia.org select Manage Learners. Select the program the learners are participating in. Check the organisation name and program details are correct. This is important if you have more than one location registered with Good Things
Select: More Actions, then Manage Learner Groups. Here is a list of learner groups created for your organisation under this program
Create a new group of learners
Select: New Learner Group. Enter the group name, start and end date. Select: Next.
Add learners to the new group
Select: from the list of learners you have previously registered on my.GoodThings then select Next
Check you have the correct learners, then Select: Finish. A success message will display on screen and you will see everyone added to the group
Add learners to an existing group
Select the group you want to edit from the list. Select: Add learner. Select: learners from the list. Select Confirm.
Remove learners from a group
Select: the learner you want to remove from the list of learners in that group. Select: Remove learner.
Now you have groups of learners, you can record the support you provide to them more quickly.
