What is a streaming service?
You can watch TV shows and movies on your smart phone, tv, tablet or computer, as long as you are connected to the internet. You can sign up to a free or paid streaming service.
Some paid streaming services are: Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Stan, and Binge.
If you do not want to pay, you can watch on other platforms like: ABC iview, SBS On Demand, 7plus, 9Now, 10 play, and YouTube.
What do you need to start watching?
- Good internet: You need a fast internet connection at home so your movie or show does not pause.
- An account: You will need to sign up with your name, email address, and bank card details.
Watch out for free trials!
- Try before you buy: Many streaming services offer a free trial. If you sign up for a free trial, you still have to put in your bank card details. If you change your mind, don’t forget tocancel the trial before the free time ends!
