Why can’t I see the Good Things grants bot?
You need to be logged in to the my.GoodThingsAustralia.org website to access and use the Good Things Grants Bot. Your organisation will need to be a member of Good Things network of community partners to do this.
What questions can it answer?
The bot can answer questions relating to your organisation’s Good Things grants. This can include providing information on how many learners you have registered, when your acquittals are due, what reporting requirements you have and how to find the Digital Skills Checkers for a grant-funded program.
What grants will the bot help me with?
The bot will help you with questions relating to grants your organisation has with Good Things Australia. This means it will help you with questions like Be Connected Grants (Capacity Building, Building Digital Skills, Digital Devices), Get Online Week Grants and Digital Sisters Grants.
It will not be able to answer questions about grant programs not run by our organisation, or about the grants another organisation in our network has with us that you are not connected to.
What questions will it not answer?
The bot will not answer questions about other aspects of Good Things work, or about grants that are not provided by Good Things. It will not give you information that you do not have access rights to, such as bank details.
It will also not give you information relating to organisations that you are not connected to.
Can the grants bot write my grant application for me?
No, the grants bot cannot write your grant applications for you.
It can help you to know if you are eligible to apply for Good Things grants based on your grant history, learner registration numbers and previous acquittals.
Is the bot AI?
Yes, the grants bot is powered by AI technology.
Is the information I give the bot/it gives me secure and private?
The information the bot collects and shares is stored securely in line with our privacy policy. We recommend caution when sharing the information the bot provides to you with other people.
I think the bot got something wrong. What can I do?
Just like humans, AI sometimes gets things wrong. If you think that information the bot has given you is not quite right, contact us to let us know. Our support team will confirm the information for you, and work with our team of experts to make sure any errors in the bot are corrected if needed.
