Now more than ever, digital inclusion is crucial for full and equal participation in society. That is why Good Things Australia is committed to closing the digital divide so no one is left behind.
We are pleased to present Good Things’ 2023-24 Annual Report, showcasing a year of incredible impact when hundreds of thousands of people across the country were supported to grow their digital skills, confidence, online safety and social connections.
Highlights of the year included the extension of the Be Connected digital skills program through to 2028; the launch of the Digital Sisters program for refugee and migrant women; and Good Things’ partnership with Down Syndrome Australia to co-design programs for people with intellectual disabilities. We also distributed over $4.4 million in grants, developed more than 100 learning resources, published groundbreaking research into AI Literacy, and engaged millions through our annual Get Online Week campaign.
Of course, we couldn’t do this alone. We are deeply grateful to our Good Things Network of over 4,000 community organisations across Australia who are dedicated to closing the digital divide. We also thank our funders, partners, the Good Things team and the Board who have all contributed greatly to this year of significant progress.
Keep in the loop with news, grant announcements, events and updates in our Good Things newsletter and learn how to get involved in closing the digital divide.
