When you visit an internet provider’s website you may see numbers for download and upload speeds. These are the kinds of home internet plans you can sign up to.
Lower internet plans: like 25 Mbps download / 4 Mbps upload are good for using social media and online shopping.
Higher internet plans: like 500 Mbps download / 40 Mbps upload are better for watching movies online and video calls.
If many people in your home will be using the internet at the same time, a higher speed plan may help the internet to work more smoothly.
