Welcome to Get Online Week 2025

Get Online Week is our international digital inclusion campaign that supports people with fun and free digital skills. This year it will be held 20-26 October.

Get Online Week 2025 is happening from 20–26 October, and we’re excited for the impact this incredible international campaign will have.

In 2024, thousands of people across Australia were supported through more than 1,000 free events hosted by community organisations, helping them feel safer, more confident, and connected.

Do you want to get involved? Here are four great ways:

  1. Host a Get Online Week event
Apply for a $1,000 grant to run an event in your community using our free resources and promotional materials. You can also host an event without a grant—just use our free support to get started!
  2. Become a sponsor
Our campaign partners and sponsors are essential to the success of Get Online Week. Talk to us about how your organisation can get involved and make a real impact.
  3. Spread the word
Share our posts on social media, talk about the campaign, and help raise awareness of the importance of digital inclusion.
  4. Support a loved one
You don’t need to be a tech expert to make a difference. Be patient, encouraging, and use our free tips and resources to help someone take their first steps online.

Apply for a Get Online Week grant

Community organisations can apply for a $1,000 grant to host a digital skills event during Get Online Week, 20–26 October 2025.

These grants help cover the costs of running free, local events that support people to build confidence, feel safer online, and develop essential digital skills. It’s a great way to bring your community together and help bridge the digital divide.

Grant applications open 16 June and close 18 July 2025.
