Demonstration of various activities and services that are available online. A hands-on approach to try various applications (devices provided) so that seniors can try for themselves the many possibilities that the Internet has to offer. Visitors can also ask about what is possible with their own device - 'Smart' phone or other Tablet - that they may not realise is available to them.

Indian cooking lesson incorporating online searching skills. Session will cover online searching, scanning QR codes etc to assist sourcing ingredients, recipes/cooking methods. We will provide information on other IT training at the Centre and to Be Connected site. Participants will share a meal and ask your questions/chat.

Our event, led by IT Trainee Regan Marsh, will provide technical assistance to elderly community members. Regan will help seniors navigate online banking, government services, and more, using smartphones, laptops, and tablets. The event includes interactive workshops on digital literacy and online safety, personalized device support, and step-by-step tutorials.

Mamma Rosa, a cook, storyteller, singer, and our digital skills teacher, will guide Eureka Clubhouse participants through a fun, engaging Zoom session (live from Italy:)where we will learn how to make our own pasta necklaces. After that Mama Rosa will magically appear with her selfie stick so we can snap selfies with her ( and print them) We will wrap up the workshop with creating our own TikTok dance video. This fun workshop blends digital learning (QR codes, google earth, zoom, selfies, filters, tiktok)with creativity and community spirit, improving mental health& wellbeing, one click at a time. Our photo competition starts Monday 14th and ends on Thursday 17th with a morning tea and a look at all the photos patrons have taken with their phones or Pads.
